Whatever the needs of our customers, we have the right technology for a whole range of processes in numerous sectors of industry. We can handle anything from drying processes in offset printing to wet-coating of sheet steel and powder coating of shock absorbers. We can cure thermal and UV coatings, heat PET blanks or dry coatings on wood and ceramic.
 Heating: When heating plastics, NIR radiation achieves more or less uniform levels of penetration. Infrared radiation essentially heats the surface, from which heat is then transferred.
A whole range of applications Drying processes bring in adphos’ entire range of technologies. We can dry inks and coatings for the printing industry (using IR and Thermo-Air), wet coatings such as water-based coatings on sheet steel, and dual-component coatings for plastics (using NIR).
We use UV technology to harden UV inks and coatings. With NIR technology, we can cure coatings and powder coatings for axle journals, steel doors and gas cylinders. We achieve extremely short process times for coating a wide range of substrates, including sheet metal, wires and pipes. adphos system technology for fast, homogenous heating processes for plastics uses NIR in numerous applications, including preheating of films for laminating, shock vulcanization of rubber profiles and uniform heating of particularly thick expanded film and insulating films and PET preforms.
