NIRWEB I inkjet drying systems are cost effective, high performance drying systems for web-based continuous and drop-on-demand (DOD) inkjet systems. NIRWEB I systems provide greater productivity and flexibility with reduced operating costs compared to traditional infrared or gas inkjet drying systems.
Productivity On even the most demanding inkjet applications, including those on high gloss, over coated and temperature sensitive substrates, NIRWEB I inkjet drying systems are capable of drying at speeds in excess of 1,000 fpm (305 mpm). NIRWEB I systems deliver the energy you need, where you need it by utilizing near-infrared technology which focuses the energy on the ink and not on the substrate resulting in less curl and easier to run and handle substrates.
Flexibility To accommodate a variety of different print widths, NIRWEB I systems come in full-web, half-web, and custom web sizes and can be utilized for in-line, near-line, or off-line inkjet applications. NIRWEB I systems offer the utmost in configurable and upgradeable options to meet your specific requirements both now and into the future and can include a web handling tower to control the web both into and out of the NIRWEB I dryer, print head mount(s) for a wide variety of inkjet technologies, pyrometric power control to adjust the power intensity of the system based on the temperature of the substrate, and inkjet controller interfaces to allow for zoned emitter power control and automatic print head positioning.
Reduced Operating Cost The ultra-efficient NIR® energy and a patented reflector system of the UHS inkjet drying systems can offer reduced operational costs by more than 30% over traditional infrared or gas drying systems.
